JD Swanson, author of Mafioso Marketing, is upfront about it - he’s lazy. He doesn’t want to work hard. Despite that, he wants to make a lot of money, just like anyone else. What separates him from everyone else, he says, is that he’s figured out a way to make money without having to work hard.

According to JD, his new ebook, Mafioso Marketing can show you the same secrets he used to go from dead broke to earning six figures in one year. As always, I take these claims with a grain of salt; it’s harder to make money online than it appears, even if these authors are showing you charts that suggest that they are earning piles of cash.

Still, I was referred to JD’s book by a reputable friend of mine, so I decided to check it out and see if Mafioso Marketing is all it’s cracked up to be.

There were four things I wanted to know about Mafioso Marketing:

• What do I get for my money?
• Is the book affordably priced?
• Is it easy to understand?
• Can I get started immediately?

JD’s book is written in the sort of arrogant, tough-guy style of a mafia man; he’s clearly been inspired by the antics of the Rich Jerk. Still, it’s OK to be arrogant if your plans actually work.

Many ebooks tell you how to do one thing, and one thing only - advertise with Adwords, or make money with Adsense, or use one specific method to make money. JD has a different approach, as he believes in making a multifaceted plan for earning money. He has what he calls the “MIF” system, which stands for “monthly, instant, future.” 

With the MIF plan, JD outlines several different things that you can do right now to make some cash. When I say right now, I mean things that you can do to generate cash in 24-48 hours. His monthly plan involves methods of creating recurring income month after month. The future plan is about setting up a number of Websites that will help you earn money for months or years to come.

Monthly and long term plans involve creation of extra-profitable membership sites. The shorter term plans simply involve a clever method of taking what other people are doing and making it better. He’s even got a terrific scheme for taking a long term moneymaker and turning it into cash now.

With his emphasis on a number of different ways of making money as well as additional emphasis on taking in cash now, rather than later, JD’s book is a refreshing read. In fact, there are a couple of methods in this book that I plan to put to use myself.

Bottom line? This is one of the best and most useful ebooks I’ve read in quite a while.
